The Rocky Mountain Center of Excellence in Public Health Informatics comprises a multi-disciplinary community of collaborating practitioners, health officials, researchers, and scientists affiliated with academic institutions, state and local health departments, health care systems, and health information exchange partners.   

The mission of the Rocky Mountain Center of Excellence in Public Health Informatics is to effectively translate public health informatics research to public health practice to protect and promote the health of individuals and populations at local, regional, and national levels.

The thematic emphasis of our center is to translate research into public health practice and to generate innovation through the integration of informatics and population science.  Our ultimate goal is to advance the core missions of public health and to improve the well-being of our communities.
